I am a senior student at CU Boulder working towards a BFA in Cinema Production. As a kid, I always loved watching TV and movies and was always immersed in what I watched. As I grew older I began to wonder how the films I watched were made and what caused me to like them. This curiosity drove me to learn more about the production of visual media as well as how to analyze the messages behind it. From there I became interested in video editing work as I had no desire to be in front of a camera. I then went to school for film where they put me in front of a camera. I no longer have any issues being in front of a camera. To me the process of editing and post production in film is the most interesting part of films because of how much can be changed in the process. While making films for school I began to use animation in my work and became more drawn to animation as a medium. In many of my films I work to incorporate both live action and animation as I find the contrast between the “real" and the animation to be interesting. I wanted to improve my visual art skill so I began working on digital art.
